This webinar series will cover topics such as:

1. Your Digital Tattoo/Digital Identity - April 20, 2011 - 2:15-3:00 pm

In this digital age, you are what you (or others) post. It's not like a paper trail, which can be destroyed; postings are more like tattoos - they can be very visible or hidden but always hard to remove! How much information about your daily life (and past) gets recorded? What  are online digital reputation monitors? How do you teach students to manage their personal information and digital reputation? Come join the fun as we explore YOUR digital footprint, digital tattoos and how it all fits in with digital reputations.

4. Digital Duplication - May 11, 2011 - 2:15-3:00 pm

In this session we will be covering copyright and fair use.  Copyright infringement occurs when information is used or distributed  without permission of the entity that owns the legal rights to that information. This includes using images, cartoons, music, and software on your website or in a document.
What then are best practices of Fair Use? How can teachers and students safely use these resources in their teaching and learning.  We will cover this and more in this session.
