In this session we will be covering copyright and fair use. Copyright infringement occurs when information is used or distributed without permission of the entity that owns the legal rights to that information. This includes using images, cartoons, music, and software on your website or in a document. What then are best practices of Fair Use? How can teachers and students safely use these resources in their teaching and learning. We will cover this and more in this session.

Digital Demands of the Common Core for Teachers - Dec 12th
The Common Core Standards call for technology to be embedded seamlessly into instruction. Students will publish online, critically evaluate Internet resources and use and understand multimedia's impact on instruction. Technology permeates all core curricular areas and assessment with the move to Smarter Balanced Assessment.
